These are the things I want to do before I die. I’ve marked off the ones that I’ve already done, and there will probably be more to come.

Watch every movie on the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 greatest films ever (I’ve seen 23/100)

Go to Europe

Get over my fear of drowning

Write a play

Run the Peachtree Road Race (I’ve run it twice, in 2009 and 2010)

Save someone’s life

Kiss in the pouring rain

Go on an adventure in the city, Ferris Bueller-style

Flash someone

See Mayday Parade

See My Chemical Romance

Go to the Hemingway house

Swim in the ocean

Get a tattoo

Go skinny dipping

Get wasted the night before a really important event

Donate blood

Go to Alaska

Have a pet wolf or coyote

Have a paint fight

Go to a coffee shop at 3 AM and order something absurd

Finish a 1000 piece puzzle

Run from the cops

Create a time “Mobius strip” (like Improv Everywhere)

See Wicked

See a comet

Watch a meteor shower

Go to the Harry Potter park

Watch the sunrise from the top of a parking deck

Plant something that will actually grow for once

Graduate high school

Go to Switzerland

Go to/finish college

Get a doctorate

Go bungee jumping

Midnight kiss on New Year’s

See the northern lights

Stop someone from leaving somewhere at the absolute last second (before they board a plane, train, etc)

Get in a taxi and yell “follow that car!”

Unwind a spool of magnesium ribbon and set it on fire

Learn how to eat fire

Be in an earthquake

Go to Antarctica

Be called as a witness to a crime

Have a long conversation with a total stranger

Run at the barrier between platforms 9 and 10…you know, just in case

Break a world record

Be asked to vacate the premises of a store (better yet, be escorted off the premises)

Push a Slinky down an up escalator

Buy a meal for a homeless person

Stay handcuffed to someone for an entire day

Egg someone’s house

Make somebody a real mix tape

Have a light saber fight in public

Get one of my poems published (besides in the school lit mag)

Make melted crayon art

See an actual tornado, not just a funnel cloud

Make someone just as happy as they make me

See the Gateway Arch

Go to Yellowstone

Visit the petrified forest

Meet someone from tumblr

Meet JK Rowling

Write a poem that’s 4+ pages long

Go an entire day speaking only in quotes

Take one of my Georgia friends to Auburn just for lemonade

Go on a date to a bookstore. (Not with the bookstore just being a side stop. The destination IS the bookstore.)

(This one’s a big if.) IF I get married, have a Harry Potter (or other nerdy thing) themed wedding.
